Colorado is the elk capital of the West, with the largest herds and over-the-counter tags. We hold special permits in the La Garita Wilderness (Unit 68, Rio Grande National Forest) near Saguache, and in the San Juan National Forest (Units 73 & 74) near Durango and Mancos — in fact we hold the only outfitter permit in all of Unit 73.

Choose fully guided drive-in or wilderness spike camps for elk, mule deer and bear. Unit 68 is also a sleeper for trophy mule deer, from high-country bow hunts to 3rd- and 4th-season rut hunts.
