Phalanx Outfitters Minnesota Bear Hunts

Our Minnesota Guided Bear Hunts take place in the No Quota area of western MN, this means tags are available over the counter.

 Tag prices as of April 2023:

$231 for nonresident and $45 for resident. 

Season opens September 1st. We set our bait sights on the first day allowed in MN (mid-August), and bait routinely until all of our hunters have completed their hunts. This ensures you are hunting an active bait as the bears develop a routine quickly and like to stick to it. 

We use hang-on tree stands and ladder sections, generally 10-15 ft off the ground. Bait sites are 10-20yds from your tree stand with a clear shooting lane. All baits are covered with a Tactacam Cell Camera so we have the latest intel on what baits have been hit. The more time on stand the better your odds of seeing a bear, but we generally aim to be settled in by 3pm as sunset is around 8pm and 5-6 hours tends to be long enough for most people, But stay alert those last few minutes are generally the most action!
