Home of TripleMark Retrievers, our training program is the heart of what we do.
Our training philosophy:
Build confidence, consistency, and communication — creating dependable hunting dogs and proud handlers.
Programs Offered- Puppy Head-Start — Socialization, intro to birds, intro to water, confidence shaping.
- Basic Gun Dog Program — Retrieves to hand, steadiness, obedience, collar conditioning, marks & memory drills.
- Advanced Gun Dog & Hunt Test Training — Blind retrieves, doubles/triples, pattern blinds, water entries, HRC/AKC test prep.
- Upland Dog Training — Quartering, holding points (for pointing breeds), flushing work, and bird contact confidence.
- Handler Coaching — We don’t just train dogs; we train handlers to succeed in the field and at hunt tests.
- Hands-on, real-field training on ponds, pastures, cover fields, and simulated hunting setups.
- Heavy involvement in the HRC hunt test community, including Keystone Lake HRC events.
- Family-oriented training where kids (like Lucas) participate and learn.
- Focus on producing dogs that perform just as well at home as they do in the blind.
Our dogs are trained to be reliable partners — whether you're hunting ducks in freezing water at daylight, chasing upland birds at mid-day, or running championship-level hunt tests.
Whether someone books an upland hunt, attends a tower shoot, signs up for a clay day, or drops off a new pup — they become part of the TripleMark family.
