Half Moon Waterfowl Arkansas Timber Hunts

Half Moon Waterfowl is located in NE Arkansas, in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway. All duck hunts take place in one of our premier flooded green timber holes, leaned up next to a tree or in one of our spacious blinds tucked back in the timber. Holes are chosen depending on weather and daily scouting information gathered by our guides. This ensures we optimize each group’s experience. We have learned with over 50 years of combined experience, that you must be flexible and be able to adjust to the current weather in able to maximize one’s harvest. Our primary focus is on harvesting ducks. Each hunting party can expect to harvest Mallards as the primary bird but can expect to harvest Pintails, Widgeon, Gadwall, and Green wing Teal among others. A true mixed bag for waterfowl enthusiasts.

We have 3 blinds total in the timber. All blinds are equip with kitchens and boat garages. We also have a couple smaller, natural holes in the woods with no blinds.

We provide all hunting boats, gear, ATV’s, decoys, etc. to ensure you have the best hunt possible. We also provide professionally trained Labrador Retrievers, from superior blood lines to aid in your hunting experience.

We currently do not offer lodging, but can recommend local hotels and lodging upon booking.
