GunDog Bootcamp 2024 | January 12th - 14th
Join us for the second annual Gundog Bootcamp in Amarillo, Texas. The Prairie Bomb team will host you and your dog for a week of training and hunting in Amarillo, Texas.
Each day will consist of a morning hunt and an afternoon training session with 3 renowned dog trainers. This experience includes lodging at the MyPlace Hotel and the week will begin with a kickoff dinner hosted by the Prairie Bomb team.
Other sponsors will be added leading up to the trip which will include free items and experiences for each client and their dog.

ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Blake Dobesh
The Owner and trainer of Dobesh Family Waterfowl Retrievers in Wharton Texas. Before turning pro Blake titled his own dog an AKC JH title. After that, he went on to guide upland hunts and work with 70 other gun dogs.
In 2019 he turned pro trainer after quitting his full-time job, with the support of his family they built 6 kennels to train dogs on obedience and that quickly grew to 14 kennels to meet their demand and they hold a wait list for training. He’s currently running UKC hunt tests with Third Coast Retrievers
Paul Massey
The Owner of Third Coast Retrievers out of Wharton Texas. with over a decade of dog training, he’s titled over 30 dogs in that time.
Paul works closely with us here at Prairie Bomb Outfitters as he trains 2 of our working retrievers Tex & Matilda to get them season-ready.
Mike & Debbie Rash
The owners of Performance Labs out of La Grange California. Mike is a retired Sheriff's Deputy and has over 20 years of dog breeding and training experience.
Debbie is the brains behind Performance Labs, her lifelong dream turned reality. Debbie as well as 20 plus years of training & breeding gun dogs, one of their dogs Cricket is currently being titled.

About Duck and Goose Hunting with Prairie Bomb
Duck and Goose hunting in Amarillo, Texas with Prairie Bomb Outfitters. Waterfowl hunting is a wonderful experience, and it does not get any better than coming out with Prairie Bomb Outfitters during the season. There are plenty of great duck and goose hunting opportunities throughout the state of Texas, but Amarillo is in a class all by itself. Hosting a wide variety of duck and geese species, the area allows us the ability to hunt with beginners, as well as the most seasoned hunter. With our land leases, we have access to tens of thousands of acres allowing us to hand-select the best fields for each and every hunt. This process ensures we are hitting the right spots on the right days where large flocks of ducks and geese are feeding. Like our motto says, all you have to do is, “Show up and hunt” and our guides will do the rest. We currently have a maximum of 12 hunters per trip, but feel free to contact us if you have a larger party. Book Now!
