These are fully guided hunts—crafted for hunters who value the challenge. You won’t be sitting over a feeder or glassing from the cab of a truck. This is a genuine spot-and-stalk experience that tests your patience and determination in unforgiving terrain. We cover multiple miles a day on foot, belly crawling through brush and maneuvering through thick cover. These oryx are wild, sharp-eyed, and unforgiving—demanding focus, finesse, and precision.

Our Gemsbok Oryx hunting package ensures that you have everything that you need for a successful and comfortable trip, including 2 days and 3 nights of all-inclusive lodging with:

• 100% private experience; no other hunters will be booked during your hunt.

• Cleaning, quartering, and cold storage of your harvest

Additional Options

• Extra hunting days: $750 per day
• Non-hunting guests: $250 per day

A $2,000 deposit is required to reserve your hunt. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your hunt. If the hunt is unsuccessful, no additional fees will be charged—only the cost of any extra days or guest fees will apply.

If you harvest multiple trophies, you will receive a $1,000 discount on each additional trophy.

We pride ourselves on flexibility. If you'd like to adjust your hunt to extend your stay or make it a day hunt, we're happy to work with your schedule. Hunters are welcome to use the method of take they enjoy most—rifle, bow, or otherwise.

Hunt Rules & Lodge Guidelines

To ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone at Plaska Lodge, please review the following rules and expectations:

Firearm Safety:

No loaded firearms are allowed inside the lodge or vehicles at any time. Always handle your firearm with care—keep it pointed in a safe direction, be mindful of your surroundings, and know what’s beyond your target.

Alcohol & Substance Policy:

Alcohol and prohibited substances are not allowed before or during any hunting activity. This includes any drug or substance made illegal under Texas law. Safety in the field is our top priority.

Licensing:

All hunters must have a valid and up-to-date Texas hunting license.

Lodge Etiquette:

• No smoking or pets are allowed in the lodge.
• Please bring a pair of indoor shoes, as hunting boots are not permitted inside.

Accommodations:

Private bedrooms are provided, along with fresh linens and towels. Complimentary coffee, tea, milk, and juice will be available. You’re welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages to enjoy after hunting hours.
