About

About the hunt:

The North West Tennessee/Reelfoot Lake area has a large population of white-tailed deer, and we have access to excellent hunting opportunities on private and public grounds.  We aim to get you on the deer you are looking for and take care of you while you are here.

On our "Trophy Ground" hunts, we only want to harvest mature bucks and not harvest the doe population, requiring a deer's antlers to be at least 140 inches. We have a $200 penalty for every inch below the 140 mark. These hunts are semi-guided and 100% fair chase.  A guide will review the property map with you, help select a stand, and get you there before daylight each day.  The limit is one mature buck.

If your goal is more about harvesting a deer than getting a mature trophy buck, let one of our local, experienced guides help you make that happen on select private or public grounds.  The limit is one deer of either sex, as the law allows.

You can hunt "Trophy Ground" or "Harvest Ground" on this unique package. For example, on a three-day hunt, you could hunt "Trophy Ground" for two days and a "Harvest Ground" for one day. You would be allowed a maximum of one buck for the trophy hunt and one deer for the harvest hunt.

Lodging at Reelfoot Lake will be provided during your stay.  Please call or text Ben Parker @ 731-446-7066 for specific details and available dates.

This package does not include hunting licenses. You will need to have the appropriate Tennessee deer hunting license.

For the upcoming 2024-2025 waterfowl season, PO will focus on guiding four groups of people per day. We have four houses at Reelfoot Lake, and our scheduling is based on which house you will stay in. We have access to several blind locations on Reelfoot Lake and normally rotate blinds between the groups hunting.

PLEASE CALL OR TEXT BEN PARKER AT 731-446-7066 for questions about hunting and availability.

"I have had the opportunity to waterfowl hunt in many different places in North America over the years. The one thing that is considerably different about Reelfoot Lake is that we are not necessarily hunting where the ducks feed early in the mornings. The lake is surrounded by wildlife refuges and flooded agricultural land. We are mainly focused on hunting, migrating, or traveling ducks. Some days, we see 1000s of high-migrating ducks cross the lake; on other days, we see 1000s of "local" ducks trading back and forth between local refuges and fields within 100 miles or so. The best days are when we see both things happening simultaneously. I always tell folks we are not on an "early morning hunt." Yes, we have some early mornings that can be great, but mostly, we are hunting ducks that cross the lake throughout the day. Therefore, our blinds are set up to be super comfortable for an all-day hunt. We can legally hunt on Reelfoot Lake until daily shooting hours end at 3 pm. We pack food and have heat, so the hunt is like no other." - Ben Parker.
