The Web Performance area (/web-performance) in the Mallard Bay admin dashboard is where you review traffic and session analytics for your public outfitter website—users and sessions over time, page views, typical session duration, paths that gather the most sessions, device mixes, and which referrers send traffic.

The Website builder is where you design and maintain your outfitter’s Mallard Bay–hosted marketing website from the dashboard. You work on a visual canvas: multiple pages, ready-made sections and blocks, global theme settings (colors and typography), and per-element settings and style controls.

The Website Widget is an integration that lets you create embeddable booking experiences for your own marketing website (for example Wix, WordPress, or custom HTML). Guests interact with a trigger on your site—such as a tab, button, text link, or inline embed—and move into Mallard Bay booking flows. Resulting bookings show up in your dashboard like bookings from other channels, tied to your listings and availability the same way.

Mallard Bay supports waivers in two complementary ways:

The Feedback area of the Mallard Bay dashboard (/feedback) is where you see guest reviews for your outfitter: an average rating, total review count, and a scrollable list of individual reviews with star ratings, written feedback, optional photos, who left the review, and when it was submitted. Reviews are tied to a group_id. When more than one review belongs to the same group, the main list links to a full review page that loads every review in that group (/feedback/review-groups/:groupId). That helps when feedback was collected as multiple parts (for example, different aspects of the same trip or stay) and you want the complete picture in one place.

The Referrals page in your Mallard Bay dashboard is where you work booking referrals: one outfitter (the referring party, or “sender”) sends a referral to another outfitter (the “recipient”), often including guest-oriented details and sometimes linking an existing booking. Recipients accept or decline pending referrals when they are willing or unable to host the referred guest opportunity.

Quotes in Mallard Bay are how you package a trip offer—listing, dates, package, guests, add-ons, optional coupon, notes, and pricing—before it becomes a confirmed booking. The dashboard keeps this work in the Quotes area (/send-quote), separate from your main bookings list.

Quick Pay lets you create standalone payment requests and share a guest checkout link with a customer. Those payments are tracked like other guest payments in Mallard Bay, but they are not created through a listing or booking checkout. Quick Pay is for collecting money when you do not need (or do not yet have) a full booking—for example, deposits taken over the phone, balances for custom arrangements, merchandise, or reimbursements.

Mallard Bay’s paid Meta (Facebook / Instagram) tools help you promote a listing, collect leads with a built-in lead form, send people to that listing’s public booking URL, and review reach, engagement, and spend from Meta.

Payments & Financials is a section under My Outfitter in the Mallard Bay dashboard. It holds outfitter-wide controls for guest-facing payments: default payment settings (deposits, balance timing, card statement text), rates (whether guests pay processing fees and your booking tax rate), optional post-booking payments (charges you can offer after a booking), and discount coupons.

Getting started in Mallard Bay usually involves a few distinct steps in the dashboard:

Booking & Guest Experience lives under My Outfitter at /my-outfitter#booking-guest-experience. It is where you set outfitter-wide defaults for checkout add-ons, cancellation language, check-in/check-out messaging, downloadable or linked guest documents, and FAQs. It does not replace Listings, where you define individual trips, packages, availability, and most guest-facing trip detail.

My Outfitter is the main screen in the Mallard Bay admin dashboard where you configure your outfitter record—the business that owns your listings, bookings, team, and many defaults guests see when they shop and after they book. In the app this page lives at /my-outfitter, and the header shows your outfitter name.

Message templates are reusable email and SMS layouts you maintain in the Mallard Bay dashboard. They supply content for guest and client communication—including manual sends from bookings, clients, client lists, and leads, as well as automations that run off booking and client activity.
