Where Coupons Live In Mobile
Coupons are managed in the mobile app from screen_name: Outfitter, inside the outfitter profile’s Payments & Financials section.
From there, outfitters with editing access can review existing coupons, create a new coupon, or delete a coupon. Coupons may also be created and applied while building a quote from screen_name: CreateQuote.
Create A Coupon
When you create a coupon, the app asks for:
- Custom code, such as
WINTER20 - Discount type, either percent off or dollar amount off
- Discount amount, greater than 0
- Optional expiration date
Custom codes are converted to uppercase as you type. Coupons are created as one-time duration coupons in Mallard Bay.
If your current subscription does not allow more coupons, the app may show a coupon limit message instead of letting you create another one.
Review Existing Coupons
In screen_name: Outfitter, the Coupons section shows the coupon code, coupon name, and expiration date when one is set.
If no coupons exist for the selected outfitter during quote creation, the app shows that there are no coupons created for that outfitter.
Delete A Coupon
From the Coupons section in screen_name: Outfitter, open the coupon’s action menu and choose Delete. The app asks you to confirm before removing the coupon.
After deletion succeeds, the coupon list refreshes.
Apply A Coupon To A Quote
In screen_name: CreateQuote, the Coupon section appears in the quote summary flow after a listing is selected. The app loads coupons for that listing’s outfitter.
Tap a coupon to apply it to the quote. Tap the selected coupon again to remove it.
Expired coupons are shown as unavailable and cannot be selected. If you create a new coupon from the quote flow, the app automatically selects it for the quote after it is created.
Let The Guest Edit The Coupon At Checkout
When creating a quote, the Coupon section includes the Editable at Checkout switch for non-invoice quote flows. Turn this on if the guest should be able to change the coupon during checkout.
