Dolomite Lodge is located on the 5J Ranch just 3 1/2 miles from San Saba, Texas. Luxury living in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, with local wineries, shopping, and dining just minutes away! The Dolomite Lodge is positioned on a beautiful, private setting on The 5 J Ranch. This secluded oasis offers both incredible scenery and complete relaxation. There is an amazing view off of the back patio over-looking a scenic canyon with a private, resort-worthy pool. Guests of the Dolomite Lodge have exclusive use of the pool. With many species of both native and exotic antelope roaming the ranch, the occasional whitetail, axis or red deer may present themselves off of the back patio. This is truly a one of a kind property that will provide an enjoyable and memorable stay. This rental offers the privacy of the ranch but ranch pastures are only accessible by prior arrangement and guided service. If interested please arrange prior to your stay with us. This is a working ranch, and guest access is limited to their lodging facility. In addition, the use of any guest ATV's or guns on the ranch is strictly prohibited, unless authorized by the owner for previously scheduled hunts or skeet shoots, and only in the presence of ranch staff. We have other properties available for rent on the ranch as well...the Sable Lodge, and Wildebeest Guesthouse. In addition, the Big 5 Event Barn on the property can accommodate large events, reunions, or retreats.
Sable Lodge is a charming home tucked back into the 5 J Ranch just over a mile. This peaceful setting has incredible views to the west...perfect to enjoy a sunset from the front porch! Just a 5 minute drive to San Saba to enjoy local wineries, dining, and great shopping, or visit the near-by Colorado Bend State Park for a scenic hike. The house offers guests both comfort and tranquility. Come and relax on your next get-away! The 5 J Ranch is home to many native and exotic game species that guests are likely to spot during their stay. Enjoy scenic walks during the day, evening gatherings around the fire pit, and amazing star-gazing at night. The Sable Lodge is close to one of our other accommodations, the Wildebeest Guesthouse, and also our Big 5 Event Barn, making the facility an excellent choice for reunions, retreats, or special events.
