Eastern Arkansas has been a world-class destination for waterfowl hunters for centuries. I was fortunate enough to grow up duck hunting with my grandfather and father on our 3,000-acre family farm back in the early 1970s. Over the years, we've always had abundant numbers of ducks and geese throughout the winter months feeding in our flooded rice fields. I started guiding full-time in 1996 with clients from all over the southeast United States. Things gradually progressed, and I built a repeat client base over the next 6 years.

As time went on, besides our normal rice acres averaging 1,500-2,000 acres a year, we added corn to our crop rotation as well as planting wheat for cover crops. I've looked over the years as what I could do to improve our duck numbers as well as the hunting experience for our clients. We've had a small lodge over the years but have now outgrown its size and decided to build a new 10,000 sq ft lodge to enhance our customer's experience. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile to give each client a memorable hunting experience. I know if you ever hunt with us, you'll see the difference. Our joy is seeing big smiles and big piles!
