About Duck Creek Outfitters
Duck Creek Outfitters is a U.S.-owned waterfowl hunting operation located near Kelvington in east-central Saskatchewan. Surrounded by expansive farmland, wetlands, and open prairie, the lodge sits in an exceptional migration corridor known for impressive numbers of ducks, geese, and sandhill cranes.
Owner and operator Sykes Mitchell has built Duck Creek around quality guided hunting, friendly hospitality, comfortable lodge accommodations, and hearty meals. Experienced guides scout daily and adapt each hunt to current bird movement, field conditions, and the goals of each group.
Duck Creek also helps visiting hunters prepare for international travel by providing guidance on licensing, Canadian firearms requirements, documentation for those bringing hunting dogs, and other important trip details. Fall hunts are offered from September through early November, followed by a short spring light-goose season from late April through May 20.
Guests return for the productive hunting, experienced staff, flexible field plans, and welcoming atmosphere back at the lodge. Space is limited each season, and early reservations are encouraged for groups hoping to secure preferred dates.
