The Grand is located at the southern end of the Golden Triangle, thirty-five minutes South of our current Missouri Lodge. This property borders not only the Missouri River, but also the Grand Pass Conservation Area, which is the largest concentration of mallards in the Midwest. With three miles of prime habitat alongside both the refuge and the Missouri River, the hunting will be nothing short of spectacular. Not to be outdone by the hunting, the Grand Lodge view is incredible. The lodge sits on the bluff bordering the property overlooking all of our flooded fields and into the refuge. After the hunt, pour a drink and get ready to enjoy the afternoon show! Watch tens of thousands of ducks milling about the refuge and the flooded fields while sitting next to a toasty fire. The Grand features 12 single occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, big bar, big outside stone fireplace looking over the hunting grounds and refuge. With only twelve guests at a time, it is an intimate experience with a plethora of blinds to choose from. Afternoon upland hunts for pheasants over pointing dogs and European tower shoots can be added, but must be scheduled in advance. The pointing dog hunts include 5 birds per person. Additional birds are $25 each and we can put out as many as you’d like. And of course, you can expect the same incredible food we have served for years: prime rib, aged beef, etc. Don’t plan on losing any weight while hunting with us! All packages include meals, snacks and bar (beer/wine).
After your hunt, stretch your feet out in front of the fireplace and relive the day’s memories in the spacious, comfortable Lodge. This sprawling complex features a large common area of windows facing the picturesque view, 18 single occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, four 90″ TVs, bars inside and out, chef on staff. The huge Mudroom holds 20 lockers to accommodate each guest’s gear. Enjoy gathering items to remember your stay by in the HF Pro Shop. Featuring many exclusive apparel items not sold online, our guests are given the opportunity to leave their experience with unique memorabilia. With a backyard overlooking Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge, as well as our own flooded corn fields, see (and hear!) thousands of Mallards descending behind the Lodge during Duck Season sunsets. Lounge by the back patio fireplace and take in the sounds of wildlife all around you with outdoor bar. And from delicious hot breakfasts and lunches to Five Star dinners, don’t plan on losing any weight during your stay! Evening main courses vary from night to night, but include dishes like Prime Rib, Salmon, Aged Filet Mignon and Ribeyes. And when you are sufficiently full, pull up a stool at our centerpiece, handcrafted bar with your friends and family, and discuss the next day’s “Game Plan” with our knowledgeable, friendly guides. The rooms are single occupancy with queen beds and a private bathroom in each room. We only host 18 guests at a time. Waterfowl hunting in Saskatchewan takes place in the grain belt of the Prairie Pothole Region in the eastern part of the province. Here, Habitat Flats CPL has access to millions of acres that hold an abundance of Ducks, Canada Geese, Snow Geese, and Sandhill Cranes. With liberal limits, this is high volume wingshooting at its finest. When limits of ducks and Canada geese are taken in the morning hunt, hunters have the option to add on hunts for decoying Snow Geese or Sandhill Cranes in the afternoon! Saskatchewan is an amazing place for a waterfowl hunter. Not only can you experience world class waterfowl hunting, but the wide open spaces and abundance of game will take your breath away. The number one golf course in Saskatchewan is a mile down the road from the Lodge for those that might want to hit the links after a fantastic morning hunt. There is a casino and hockey arena close by as well. The Saskatchewan lodge, boasting of over 11,000 square feet, sleeps 20 hunters with 2 queen beds and full bathroom per room. The open Great Room design also includes a lounge area, dining, bar and kitchen, as well as a fitness room. The Lodge is situated a mile from the #1 Golf Course in Saskatchewan, providing additional recreation opportunities for clients who have reached their daily bird limits.
