Based in Isabella, Minnesota, Kiwatchi Adventures LLC offers guided outings that bring you deep into Northwoods country—on the ice in the Boundary Waters or fall and spring cart ride with a sled dog team when the air turns crisp below 60 degrees. It’s a chance to slow down, learn the landscape, and experience the region with local guidance.

Between adventures, take in the scenery around our historic log cabin built in 1917—more than a century old, with an incredible story behind how it came to be here. Whether you’re here to fish for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and trout, or to see how sled dogs train in the shoulder seasons, we focus on a safe, memorable day outdoors.

On the way back we also stop at a bridge where people use the scenic background for Christmas cards.
