Texas Hill Country Rio Turkey hunts on the 2,400 Walski Ranch consist of waking up just before sunrise, grabbing coffee and a to-go breakfast before heading to the spot your guide roosted a bird the night before. Don't get me wrong we hunt them hard, our hunts are "Run and Gun" style - so we can always adapt to what a bird may do. Just getting out in the woods and hearing the thunder start every morning as birds gobble from their roost' along the Blanco and Little Blanco River is worth the trip.
