Southern Montana Mule Deer Hunts

Hunt Details:

All hunts are for 5 days (6 nights lodging) and price is all inclusive with the exception of alcohol. You are responsible for bringing your own alcohol if you choose. All hunts are spot and stalk. You can expect shots of 200 to 400 yards. Our hunts are guided 2X1 standard. 1X1 guided hunts are available for an additional charge.

Hunt Day(s) Agenda:

• On your hunt, your guide will take you out early-morning and take a break mid-day. Generally animals are bedded until late afternoon. You will continue your hunt again in the evening. Your daily schedule may vary and is based on the location and presence of game. In the evening, you can have cocktails, dinner, watch TV and just unwind.

Faber Ranch Lodge, located 30 miles from Big Sandy, MT, offers guests a true mountain lodge experience with modern amenities. This lodge is ideal for larger groups, featuring 4 bedrooms (each with double occupancy), 2 private baths, and laundry facilities. It also includes a spacious great room with plenty of seating, perfect for conversation and camaraderie. While you’re away from it all, you can still stay connected if you choose—we offer excellent Verizon cell service, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi throughout the lodge.

• Hunter orange: Montana law requires at least 400 square inches of hunter orange above the waist for big game rifle and archery hunters (exception: bow hunters during special archery season).
• BYOB: Alcohol is allowed but must be provided by guests; no alcohol consumption while out hunting.
• Licenses: Hunters are responsible for obtaining required licenses and following Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks regulations.
