Dove season in West Texas is more than just opening day—it’s a tradition built on agriculture, migration, and local knowledge. At Waterproof Ranch Outfitters, we don’t just hunt these fields—we farm them, manage them, and live on them year-round.
Our team was born and raised in the counties we hunt. We spend countless hours scouting roads, watching flight patterns, and working directly with the landowners and farmers who make these hunts possible. Because of that, we’re able to consistently put hunters on strong bird numbers throughout the season.
What sets us apart is how we operate. We share 50% of every hunt directly with the farmers and landowners, ensuring the land is respected, improved, and preserved for future seasons. This partnership results in better habitat, less pressure, and more consistent shooting for our clients.
