-The LOUISIANA AFTERNOON SHARK PACKAGE is the ultimate fishing adventure for those who want to hear the drag scream! Get the fighting belt, because this is going to be one fight you won’t forget! Black Tips, Spinners, and Bull Sharks are the most common species caught but, when it comes to shark fishing you never know what type is on the other end of that line! Whether it’s the beaches, passes, or nearshore oil rigs these creatures are always lurking in the shadows.
-Afternoon trips will leave at 3:00pm and return at approximately 7:00pm.
-These trips are usually catch and release, but ONE shark per boat is allowed during the shark season.
INCLUDED – All charter trips are provided with rods and reels, bait, ice, fuel, and tackle.
NOT INCLUDED – Food/Drinks, Large Ice Chest for your catch, Louisiana Fishing License
Rules
In order to fish the waterways of Louisiana you must first purchase a Louisiana Fishing License. By clicking on the link below you can select to purchase a license based on your specific needs.
License options include:
- Charter passenger (3 day) $10 residents/nonresidents (Valid to fish from a charter vessel in saltwater areas of the state, with a licensed guide on board at all times. This license is in lieu of Basic and Saltwater fishing licenses and is valid for three consecutive days. You must provide the charter guide’s license number or mothership license when you purchase a Charter Passenger License.)
- Saltwater (Basic Fishing License also required) $13 for residents and $30 for nonresidents
- Basic Fishing License $9.50 for residents and $60 for non-residents
Annual recreational fishing licenses are valid from the date of purchase and expire on June 30 each year. If you purchase a license on June 1, when they go on sale each year, they expire on June 30 the following year.
You are not required to have Basic or Saltwater Fishing licenses if you are:
- A resident or nonresident under age 16 (i.e., age 15 and under)
- A resident born before June 1, 1940, who has lived in Louisiana for 6 months.
