Making Memories, One Fish at a Time! Inshore fishing at its finest out of Hopedale, La. Seeing the marsh and bayous of South Louisiana along with all the wildlife that inhabits the marsh. Having a great time with family, friends and/or co-workers.
Inshore fishing in the marshes and bays of Hopedale, Shell Beach, and Delacroix Island area, just South of Chalmet, LA. Targeted species include Speckle Trout, White Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheephead, and Flounder. Captain Scot VeZain has been fishing South Louisiana waters for over 40 years and has established himself as one of the best in the area. Beginners to seasoned anglers come back year after year to catch what Louisiana waters have to offer. Corporate groups are welcome! I have access to additional captains for larger groups!
Rules
Package Information: Depart the slip at safe light and fish for 6 to 7 hours upon a Sea Hunt 25 foot bay boat powered by a Yamaha 300. Upon returning to the slip, your catch will be cleaned and packaged.
Included: All fishing equipment is supplied along with live bait when available. Water is made available.
Not Included: Rain gear, food, drinks, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, ice chest (to bring fish home in), ice, license (Obtain through Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries website.

Oil Life Charters, LLC was established in 2018. Captain Scott VeZain has been fishing South Louisiana waters for the past 40 years. He worked offshore for 33 years before retiring, hence the name, “Oil Life”. He took his passion for fishing and teaching others into a thriving business. The water taxi is a Sea Hunt BX 25 foot bay boat with a T-Top powered by a Yamaha 300. The fishing grounds are Hopedale, Shell Beach, Delecroix and Brenton Sound, LA. Inshore fishing - catching a variety of fish including Speckle Trout, White Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheephead and an occasional Flounder. Fishing equipment is top of the line rods and reels matched to get the job done no matter the size of the fish. Couples, families, friends, co-workers and corporate groups all welcome. Lodging can be arranged only feet away from the boat. My motto is Making Memories, One Fish at a Time.

- Clothing: Weather dependent, summers are hot and winters can be brutally cold in an open boat.
