OAC Maine Red Stag Hunts

About
Seventh Ridge Wilderness Preserve, situated atop Buker Mountain in Guilford, Maine, offers a remarkable hunting opportunity for Red Stag, also known as European Elk. Our private preserve is encompassed within a 700-acre property dedicated to timber management and the preservation of native wildlife. What sets the Ridge apart is our unique approach, allowing primitive hunting methods such as bow or muzzleloader, which grants hunters the opportunity to engage in sit-and-stalk techniques to pursue their trophy animal within the woodlands of Maine.
Unlike other preserves, our focus lies in providing an authentic Maine hunting experience for Red Stag. Our preserve does not feature large fields or farmland, but rather dense thickets, picturesque meadows, and expansive timberlands. This ensures that every hunter encounters the true essence of Maine's wilderness. For those who prefer elevated positions or concealment, we offer the availability of tree stands and ground blinds.
In addition to Red Stag hunts, the Outdoor Adventure Company (OAC) can also arrange combo hunts for other sought-after species, including black bear, whitetail deer, turkey, and upland game. This presents a fantastic opportunity to diversify your hunting experience and make the most of your time in the wilderness.
Seventh Ridge Wilderness Preserve in Maine provides a one-of-a-kind adventure for Red Stag hunting enthusiasts, allowing them to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region and engage in an authentic hunting experience.

Maine is home to the largest continuous forest in the eastern United States, stretching from the Mississippi River. With 90 percent (17.8 million acres) of its land covered in forests, Maine has the highest percentage of forested area among all the states. Within this vast expanse, the northern part of Maine encompasses 12 million acres and serves as the location for the Outdoor Adventure Company. Remarkably, Maine is the only state in the country that shares borders with Canada to the west, north, and east, earning it the nickname "the Big Woods" due to its size.
The Outdoor Adventure Company has leased over 30,000 acres specifically dedicated to bear hunting and enjoys access to the entire 3.5 million-acre Maine North Woods during Moose, Deer, and Grouse seasons. For Turkey season, our OAC team ventures into the central and southern counties, exploring secured farms and public hunting areas. Situated on the Sebec shore road with access to Sebec Lake, our 700-acre base camp and farm in Guilford, Maine provide a central hub for our operations.
At the Outdoor Adventure Company, our dedicated team is committed to ensuring an exceptional hunting and lodging experience in the vast and majestic Big Woods of Maine.
