Conner’s Pheasant Prairie is a family-owned hunting preserve founded in 2019 by Seth and Diana Conner. With over 30 years of farming experience, the Conners have long been dedicated to regenerative agriculture, utilizing cover crops and no-till practices to improve their land. Their passion for both sustainable farming and the outdoors came together to create the Pheasant Prairie — a place where hunters of all ages can enjoy a truly unique upland bird experience.
We offer both guided and self-guided upland hunts across fields thoughtfully planted in 25-foot strips of milo, pearl millet, and sunflowers, with soybean stubble between strips for easier walking. Our habitat design makes the fields accessible for hunters of all ages and physical abilities. Along with released pheasants and chukars set at the start of each hunt, the property also supports a healthy population of wild quail, adding to the excitement of every outing.
