Embark on an Unforgettable Hunting Adventure

Experience classic northern upland bird hunting in the remote forests of Northern Ontario with Canada North Lodge. These grouse hunts take place during early fall, when birds are active, dispersed, and offering exciting walk-up shooting opportunities through pristine wilderness habitat.

Hunting the expansive trail systems, logging roads, and mixed timber surrounding the Woman River Chain of Lakes, you’ll pursue ruffed grouse in ideal cover. This is a true boots-on-the-ground hunt—covering ground, working edges, and taking quick, instinctive shots as birds flush from thick cover.

Whether you’re a seasoned upland hunter or new to the sport, this is a laid-back, highly enjoyable hunt that pairs perfectly with world-class fishing and a comfortable lodge experience.
