South Africa is a relatively disease-free area.
- An updated tetanus shot is suggested.
- No compulsory vaccinations or malaria medication are required for travel to South Africa.

Alcohol:
- Specialty or top-shelf liquor is best purchased duty-free before departure, as selection and pricing in South Africa can vary.
Airport Transfer
- Depending on group size, Avula Safaris will provide transport in a comfortable safari vehicle or luxury minibus from your arrival airport to the lodge.
