Private Land Elk — Unit 30

Hunt 40,000 acres of lightly hunted private land in New Mexico Unit 30, including 10,000 acres added in 2023 that had not previously been hunted. This ranch is known for producing solid-to-high-quality elk in open spot-and-stalk country.

The terrain features gentle rolling hills, strong water sources and big vistas, making it a good fit for hunters who want a private-land elk hunt that is somewhat easier on the legs while still feeling wild and expansive. September bow and October rifle hunts are based from a nearby wall-tent camp with cooks, hot showers and heated tents.

All hunts include guided hunting, lodging, meals and the landowner voucher. Prices are plus New Mexico license and tax.
