With over 1400 acres high-fenced and stocked with exotics, we offer Texas exotic-only hunts year-round, and as an add-on for any trophy whitetail deer or hog hunt. Our exotic herd management and culling techniques have resulted in amazing trophy axis deer, fallow deer, and blackbuck, Nilgai, Scimitar Oryx and others, all available to harvest throughout the year.
The exotic hunting packages are two nights and three days. Arrival is around noon, and departure on your last day is also around noon. You can add more than one trophy exotic to your hunting package and get a discount for each animal added. We primarily provide guided stand hunting from elevated box or ladder stands. This is a fully guided package—if necessary, we will spot and stalk for your trophy exotic, which is extremely fast-paced. We boast a nearly 100% success rate on our Texas exotic hunts.

Guests are always welcome at Blackbird Ranch. We charge $350 per day per guest (includes lodging, meals & ranch activities like fishing), and children 8 and younger are free unless exotic hunting.

- If your group is large enough and reserves the Main Lodge, the Big Lake is reserved with it!
- If your group occupies the Lake Lodge, the Red Lake is reserved with it!

Welcome to Blackbird Hunting & Fishing Ranch—top-notch whitetail, exotic hunting, fishing, and camping on a sprawling, picturesque landscape of gently rolling hills under the beautiful Texas sky. We also provide other activities such as kayaking and skeet shooting. Three large lakes total 100 acres of water. Our goal is to provide our guests with an outdoor experience second to none.
Some 1400 acres are high-fenced and stocked with axis, blackbuck, fallow deer, wild boar, Nilgai, Oryx and 200- to 300-inch class whitetail deer. Additional 2000 acres of open range are abound with whitetail deer, waterfowl, and wild boar. We have plenty of fishing sites, so be sure to bring your rods and tackle for a little midday action. Our 60-acre and two 25+-acre lakes are stocked with world-class trophy Florida bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill. For your comfort, we offer a rustic lodge for small groups and ranch style house for large party - both lodgings perched on one of our lakes. They are well-appointed with all the amenities of home, including a full kitchen and indoor fireplace.

We are centrally located less than 1.5 hours from Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Abilene. We also are a close-knit team that genuinely cares about and stands behind every aspect of your visit.
