With over 1600 acres high-fenced and stocked with exotics, we offer Texas exotic-only hunts year-round, and as an add-on for any trophy whitetail deer or hog hunt. Our exotic herd management and culling techniques have resulted in amazing trophy axis deer, fallow deer, and blackbuck, Nilgai, Scimitar Oryx and others, all available to harvest throughout the year.
The exotic hunting packages are two nights and three days. Arrival is around noon, and departure on your last day is also around noon. We primarily provide guided stand hunting from elevated box or ladder stands. This is a fully guided package—if necessary, we will spot and stalk for your trophy exotic, which is extremely fast-paced. We boast a nearly 100% success rate on our Texas exotic hunts.
All our exotic trophy prices includes lodging & meals.
Guests are always welcome at Blackbird Ranch. We charge $700 per guest (includes
lodging, meals & ranch activities like fishing), and children 8 and younger are free
unless exotic hunting.
For All Trophy Hunts:
- Duration: Two nights and three days (arrival around noon, departure around noon on the last day).
- Bass Fishing included
- Flexibility: Add more than one trophy exotic to your package and receive discounted pricing for each additional animal.
- Hunting Style: Primarily guided stand hunting from elevated box or ladder stands; spot-and-stalk available if necessary for fast-paced opportunities.
- Success Rate: Nearly 100% success on exotic hunts at Blackbird Ranch.
- All-Inclusive: Trophy fees include lodging, meals, snacks, beverages, and full guide service.

Trophy Axis under 30 inches: $5000
Trophy Axis over 30 inches (<33") : $6500
Trophy Axis 33 inches & greater: $7500
Trophy Blackbuck Pricing:
Trophy Blackbuck under 18 inches: $4500
Trophy Blackbuck over 18 inches(<20"): $5500
Trophy Blackbuck over 20 inches: $7500
Trophy Fallow Pricing:
Fallow below 4 inch palms: $5000
Trophy Fallow over 4 inch palms (<6"): $6500
Trophy Fallow over 6 inch palms (<8"): $8000
Trophy Fallow over 8 inch palms: $10000
Nilgai Meat Hunt Pricing: $4500
Guests are always welcome at Blackbird Ranch. We charge $350 per day per guest (includes lodging, meals & ranch activities like fishing), and children 8 and younger are free unless exotic hunting.
Lodging:
- If your group is large enough and reserves the Main Lodge, the Big Lake is reserved with it!
- If your group occupies the Lake Lodge, the Red Lake is reserved with it!
