Charlotte Waterfowl & Combo Hunts

Enjoy an all-inclusive hunting getaway with Speck Ops Waterfowl in Charlotte, Texas, built around guided morning waterfowl hunts, comfortable ranch-home lodging, and relaxed time on the property between outings. Guests can expect a private, hosted experience with access to productive waterfowl habitat and opportunities for species such as teal, mallards, pintail, gadwall, shovelers, specklebelly geese, sandhill crane, and other seasonal birds.

Your stay includes the essentials that make the trip simple and comfortable, including lodging, home-cooked meals, snacks, guided hunts, bird dog support, and animal cleaning. After the hunt, guests are welcome to keep their harvested meat and enjoy downtime at the ranch home with a large living area, TV, pool table, or air hockey.

Plan for the first day to be a relaxed arrival and property day, giving your group time to settle in and enjoy the amenities before hunting begins the following morning. Check-in is anytime after 1:00 PM

Departure time is before noon on the last day of hunting.

Deposit: Speck Ops requires a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, to hold your dates. We'll confirm your dates once we receive your deposit. Your balance is due on or before September 1.

Cancellation: Speck Ops’ plans are based on how many hunters and guests we've booked daily. If someone must cancel, please find a sub. Speck Ops will gladly transfer the canceller's paid deposit toward your sub. However, in the event of a no-call, no-show with no sub, the client will forfeit their portion of the deposit to Speck Ops to cover incurred business expenses and lost revenue.

Groups: We require a minimum of 6 hunters to book a waterfowl package in any lodging option, 4 hunters to book a dove package in cabins or cottages & a minimum of 12 hunters to book a dove package in the bunkhouse.

Required licenses:

• Federal waterfowl stamp
• Resident or non-resident 5 day special hunting license 
• Sandhill Crane permit (If hunting waterfowl)
• Texas State HIP certification 
• Hunter’s Education Certification, unless born before September 2, 1971
