Michigan Waterfowl Hunts

About
Great Lakes Guided Outdoors
During Michigan’s September resident goose season, the limit is 5 Canada Geese per hunter. We provide hunts in private agricultural fields that have been rigorously scouted and have minimal hunting pressure to guarantee your hunt is the highest quality it can be. We try to hunt 8-10 hunters to a group, and allow dogs with full private parties. All hunts will be guided by at least 1-2 seasoned guides to ensure your hunt runs as smoothly as possible.
These hunts take place during Michigan’s Regular Season. This season normally begins the first Saturday in October for the Middle Zone. Bag limits are 5 Canada geese and 6 ducks. These hunts are based on the best opportunity for your date based on our scouting. We hunt private agricultural fields primarily, but also hunt pothole ponds, marshes, and planted millet fields as well. If other opportunities for species present themselves, there are also bag limits for species like Brant, Snow and Ross geese, and White-fronted geese. These species are not guaranteed, and are always a nice bonus.
