Hunt the timbered ridges, open parks, and high country of the Cabinet Mountains near Trout Creek, Montana on a classic spot-and-stalk rifle hunt. These are five- or six-day guided hunts scheduled late October through November, built for hunters who want to cover ground, glass big country, and make careful, ethical plays on elk and deer in rugged western Montana terrain.
With the appropriate big game combo tag, hunters have the opportunity to harvest a bull elk and either a mule deer or whitetail buck. Deer hunting overlaps the rut, which generally begins in early November making it a productive window for locating bucks as they become more active.
- 5- or 6-day fully guided spot-and-stalk rifle hunts (late October through November)
