Welcome to our outfitter, where the love for the outdoors meets generations of expertise in waterfowl hunting. Situated in the heart of Poinsett County, Arkansas, our hunting grounds span nearly 2000 acres of rice and soybeans and are strategically positioned in the infamous Mississippi Flyway, near the renowned Claypool Reservoir and the Earl Buss Bayou Deview WMA. Our family-owned business is deeply ingrained in the region's rich farming heritage. Our great grandfather cleared these fields by hand, while our great grandmother meticulously plucked feathers from the ducks he hunted to make down pillows. The Ukena name, carried over from Germany by our great-great-grandparents, not only symbolizes our family's journey but also graces the schoolhouse where our grandmothers received their education.
Our journey into this business was fueled by a profound love for the land and a deep-seated passion for hunting. Growing up, we roamed these fields and marshes, absorbing the wisdom of our parents and grandparents. Hunting isn't merely a pastime for us – it's a way of life, and we're thrilled to extend that tradition to others through our outfitter. With this legacy, we've honed our skills to offer unmatched guiding services amidst the picturesque landscapes of our land. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to the sport, we provide an extraordinary hunting experience, combining tradition, expertise, and personalized service.
When you choose to hunt with us, you're not just booking a hunt – you're immersing yourself in a legacy that spans generations. We believe in the importance of harvesting memories and embracing traditions, and it's our honor to facilitate experiences that embody these values. Join us amidst the beauty of the great outdoors, and let's create cherished memories and uphold timeless traditions together.
