Blackbird Ranch started by introducing superior whitetail deer genetics, and we now have a thriving, self-sustaining deer population. Most of our whitetail population (80%) will be up to 190 inches. We produce several monster trophy bucks over the 200-inch class, though we do not know how many—or their actual
sizes—until late August or early September. Our trophy deer hunts are fully guided and yield a success rate near 100%. Our remote location guarantees full immersion in a hunt-of-a-lifetime experience.

What’s Included?
Our Trophy Deer Hunting Packages in Texas include two nights of lodging and three days of guided hunting. Arrival is noon Monday, Wednesday, or Friday with departure by noon Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday. This schedule may be changed for a corporate hunting group, so please ask if these days can be adjusted for your
group. Trophy deer hunt packages include a continental breakfast, hearty Brunch and Dinner. Please call us for details and menu options for your family or corporate group.
At Blackbird Ranch, fishing is more than an add-on — it’s included with every hunt. With over 130 acres of stocked lakes and ponds, anglers can chase trophy Florida bass, catfish, and bluegill in a pristine private setting. Whether you’re unwinding after a hunt or visiting just to fish, our waters promise action-packed
days and lifelong memories.
Lodging:
- If your group is large enough and reserves the Main Lodge, the Big Lake is reserved with it!
- If your group occupies the Lake Lodge, the Red Lake is reserved with it!
Rules
- Minimum hunters: 2 (weekends during prime season, Nov–Jan 15: 4 hunters).
Exceptions can always be made with notice — just reach out to our team!
- Combo Deal: Add a hog or low-fence hunt to your high-fence or exotic hunt.
- Private Groups: Groups of 2 hunters may share the ranch with another group.
