Southwest Prairie Outfitters sits in one of Nebraska’s top counties for wild pheasant populations, with strong numbers of bobwhite quail as well. This is a true classic upland experience over pointing dogs in a mix of diverse, natural habitat.
You’ll hunt everything from milo, wheat, and corn fields to CRP, pastures, upland mixes, plum thickets, and cedar shelterbelts, including designated upland areas on the home ranch and surrounding leases. Our experienced gun dogs do the heavy lifting, but we’re always happy to have guests bring their own dogs along.

Located in the Nebraska, we have a diverse number of species of wild game that we pursue in our region. We hunt whitetail & mule deer, waterfowl, turkeys, wild pheasant and quail as well as predators such as bobcat and coyotes.
We are committed to creating a memorable experience for each of our clients.
Our lodge is centrally located on an approximate 800 acre ranch with a number of amenities. You can enjoy the scenery in the mornings and evenings from the patio and watch deer, waterfowl and listen to the pheasant cackling as the sun sets. It's truly an amazing place to take in.
We believe in being stewards of the land and put into the habitat more than what we take and that has led to a rewarding and successful hunting and experiences year after year.
