The Hunt

Mountain lion hunting is an exciting and physically demanding pursuit where conditions can change by the hour. Our hunts are conducted with trained hounds, allowing us to locate and pursue lions through the mountains and backcountry of northwestern Colorado.

Depending on snow, terrain, and current conditions, transportation during the hunt may include snowmobiles, side-by-sides, and horseback. Every hunt is different, and our guides use their knowledge of the country and current lion activity to determine the best approach each day.

With a maximum of only two hunters, these hunts remain personal and focused, giving each hunter plenty of attention from our guides.
