New Mexico Trophy Mule Deer

Hunt trophy mule deer in New Mexico units known for producing 180–200-inch class bucks, including Unit 29/30/34, Unit 2B, and the legendary Unit 2C. Compass West Outfitters guides only select areas with the genetics, habitat, and history to produce exceptional deer year after year.

These guided hunts are built for serious mule deer hunters, with opportunities ranging from near-99% draw-odds open-desert hunts in Unit 29/30/34 to classic migration hunts in Unit 2B and once-in-a-lifetime sand-tracking and spot-and-stalk hunts in Unit 2C.

Guides scout bucks throughout the year and focus on trophy-quality animals, with many harvested bucks exceeding 170 inches and multiple deer over 200 inches taken in recent seasons.

All mule deer hunts are draw-only in these premium units. There are no landowner or over-the-counter tags, and the outfitter will help hunters apply.

Unit 2B and Unit 2C package prices are listed plus lodging and meals.
