Operating out of Ocean City, MD, Coastal Guide Service’s goal is to make your trip memorable, enjoyable, and keep you safe in the process. Since 2009, we have been providing top notch service to our clients.

You will be fishing from a 28’ Dusky center console with full curtains, up to date Garmin electronics, Sat Phone, a Standard Horizon VHF radio, and all the equipment you need to catch the target species. The boat also features outriggers, downriggers, a live well, and a cooler for your food/drinks.

Bring the whole family – the captain loves teaching kids all the fun things about fishing. This is a very hands-on operation, and the crew lets you do as much as you would like to. If you want to gaff a fish, go for it! They can do customized trips to fit all your fishing needs.

Species you can expect to catch depending on the time of year include Triggerfish, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sea Bass, Tautog, Bluefish, and even Sharks.

Gear provided Penn reels, along with some custom and Jigging World rods, live bait, and lures. Live bait is sometimes caught, sometimes bought, depending on the time of year and targeted species. You can keep the catch with fish cleaning available.

We offer many different types of trips to fit any experienced anglers needs. We love taking kids fishing and introducing them to the outdoors, so don't be shy about bringing the youngsters!

3 Hour Bay/Inlet--Departure times-- 6am, 9:15am, 1pm, 4:15pm

• Trip is for up to 6 guests. Enjoy a fantastic time on the water in the beautiful setting of Ocean City. You can experience fishing for a variety of species such as flounder, bluefish, rockfish, sheepshead, sea bass, tog, weakfish, and many others, depending on the specific season. While you're out, you may also have the opportunity to see dolphins, stingrays, and a variety of interesting birds. This particular trip is our most popular choice and is perfect for beginners, kids, and families looking for a memorable adventure together!

4 Hour Shark--Departure times-- 6am, 10:30am, 3:15pm, 7:30pm

• Trip is ideal for up to 4 guests. Join us for an exciting shark fishing adventure just a short run out of the inlet. Perfect for families looking for a thrilling experience without spending the whole day on the water. While we can't guarantee a catch, shark fishing in this area is usually quite consistent. You'll have the chance to target a variety of shark species including blacktip, spinner, sand tiger, Atlantic sharpnose, sandbar, and maybe even some other surprises lurking below the surface.

5 Hour Wreck/Inshore--Departure times-- 7am,1pm

• Trip is for up to 4 guests. Wreck/Inshore fishing is fun for the entire family. Depending on time of year, you can bottom/wreck fish for black seabass, triggerfish, Tautog, and flounder. . Inshore has lots to offer from trolling for bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi, False Albacore to sight casting to cobia and mahi as well. Typically a short run to the fishing grounds gives you plenty of fishing time. This is another very kid friendly type of fishing.

6 Hour Wreck/Troll--Departure times-- 6am,1pm

• Trip is for 4 guests. This trip is about the same as the 5 hour just more fishing time. Depending on time of year we can do a combo of bottom fishing as well as trolling to allow for multiple species. This is one of our most popular trips.

8 Hour Wreck/Inshore--Departure time-- 7am

• Trip is for 4 guests. This trip is same as the 5 and 6 hour just with more fishing time and the ability to run farther or hit many more spots.

8 Hour Shark--Departure time-- 7am

• Trip is for 4 guests. Venture off the beach 20-40 miles depending on time of year and water temperature. You will be fishing for Mako, Blue, Thresher, and some other species of sharks. Makos and Threshers tend to show up the earliest and produce very exciting acrobatic fights
