Fireline Fishing Charters offers fully guided duck hunts in the heart of Eastern North Carolina, providing a premier waterfowl experience. Our hunts include everything from transportation to the blind, expertly set decoy spreads, and professional calling, to breakfast right in the blind. We primarily target Blue Bills, Canvasbacks, Buffleheads, Green-wing Teal, Redheads, Scoters, Black Ducks, Gadwall, Wigeon, and pintail; ensuring a varied and exciting hunt.

What should I bring?

• Shotgun & Ammunition: Ensure it's appropriate for waterfowl hunting (typically 12 or 20-gauge with non-toxic shot like steel or bismuth).
• Choke Tubes: Bring a variety (improved cylinder, modified) to adjust for different shooting conditions.
• Hunting License & Waterfowl Stamp: Always have your hunting license, federal duck stamp, and any state waterfowl stamps required.
• Camouflage Clothing: Weather-appropriate waterproof camouflage jacket, pants, or bibs. Layer for warmth and flexibility.
• Base Layer: Moisture-wicking long underwear.
• Insulating Layer: Fleece or wool for cold weather.
• Outer Layer: Waterproof shell or waders.
• Hat, Gloves, and Face Mask: Camo hat and warm gloves (water-resistant). A face mask or camo face paint helps with concealment.
• Footwear: Waterproof, insulated boots to keep your feet warm and dry.
• Sunglasses/Eye Protection: For glare reduction and protection while shooting.
• Shell Bag or Backpack: To carry extra shells, snacks, or other personal items.
• Snacks and Water: While breakfast might be provided, it's always good to have snacks and water handy.
• Hearing Protection: To protect your ears from shotgun blasts.
• Towel & Dry Bag: To keep personal items dry and to wipe off water after the hunt.
• Camera or Phone: For capturing memories, but keep it protected from water.
• Hand Warmers: For additional warmth on cold days.
