Guided Kansas Waterfowl Hunts

Experience world-class waterfowl hunting in the heart of Kansas with Megaflight Outdoors. Our guided hunts place you in prime waterfowl habitat where migrating ducks and geese consistently move through the region each season. Hunts may take place over agricultural fields or water depending on bird activity and daily conditions.

While hunters are welcome to request a preferred species, our guides focus on putting clients in the best possible position for success based on bird movement and current patterns. Whether targeting ducks or geese, our goal is to deliver a high-quality hunt with strong shooting opportunities and plenty of action.

Hunters can expect classic Kansas waterfowl conditions—crisp mornings, steady winds, and birds working decoy spreads at 20–40 yards. Our experienced guides handle all scouting and preparation, including setting decoy spreads ahead of time, allowing clients to focus entirely on the hunt.

Your morning begins with breakfast before heading to the field or marsh where everything is prepared and ready for the hunt.

Waterfowl Hunt Packages

Hunt Only – $400 per hunter, per day

Guided waterfowl hunt with professional guides and prepared decoy spreads.

Hunt & Lodging – $500 per hunter, per day

Includes guided hunt and comfortable lodging accommodations.

All-Inclusive Package – $650 per hunter, per day

Includes guided hunt, lodging, and meals during your stay.

What to Bring

• Hunters should come prepared for variable winter weather conditions.
• Recommended gear includes:
• Chest waders (required for many hunts)
• Layered hunting clothing for cold and wind
• Waterproof outerwear
• Personal shotgun and ammunition
• No blaze orange required
• Kansas weather can change quickly, so bringing extra layers is always recommended.

Guide Gratuity

Gratuity for guides is not included in the hunt price.

The recommended industry standard is 15–25% of the hunt cost based on your experience.

Are client dogs allowed?

For waterfowl hunts we don’t NORMALLY allow client dogs however we might make an exception under certain circumstances. For Upland we do allow dogs on the Hunt but NOT in any of the lodges.
