CRANE or GOOSE HUNTS with LODGING:
This package is priced at $525 a day per hunter and includes lodging. Like all of our winter bird hunts, we will target what's the most abundant or will provide the best hunting opportunity. It might be geese, cranes, or ducks, but in our area, cranes and geese are the most common.
Our price point ensures quality access to some of the best hunting land near Lubbock. We require a minimum of 6 hunters on weekdays and 8 on weekends with a few mixed group days throughout the season. This part of Texas winters substantial numbers of Canada geese, snow geese, ross geese, and specklebellies.
The predominant concentrations consist of greater Canada's, short grass prairie Canada's (lessers), and lesser snow geese. Geese usually show up in hunt-able numbers in mid November and stick around through the end of season. We have success decoying and killing birds though the whole hunting season.
We charge $5 per bird for cleaning, vacuum sealing and proper tagging. You are more than welcome to take and clean your own birds but leaving a wing attached and proper disposal is mandatory. We are not responsible for birds if you choose to take them.
