Captain Brandt Roger, a Houma native, will guide you on an unforgettable inshore redfish adventure through the scenic waters of Dularge, Dulac, or Cocodrie. At Rojo Charters, we specialize in sight-fishing for redfish, offering a hands-on, high-energy experience from a custom Uncle J Custom boat equipped with a 5' Frog Daddy Manufacturing casting platform. This elevated view gives anglers the ultimate advantage in spotting redfish in shallow marshes and flats.
Our vessel is also outfitted with dual Power-Poles for superior boat control, even in windy conditions, as well as Garmin electronics and a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor powered by lithium batteries for stealthy navigation through fish-rich waters.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle—including both spinning and baitcasting setups—featuring tournament-grade gear from 6th Sense Fishing and Shimano reels paired with 40lb Cortland braided line, built to handle the thick structure and vegetation we frequently fish.

On this unique trip, you’ll use TAG Louisiana fish tags to help track redfish populations and contribute valuable data to help manage and protect Louisiana’s fisheries for generations to come. It's your chance to fish with purpose and give back to the waters we all love.

I was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, where the marsh isn’t just scenery — it’s a way of life. I grew up learning tides, wind patterns, and how to read water long before I ever ran a charter. That foundation turned into a passion, and that passion became Rojo Charters — a technical, sight-fishing focused inshore experience built around one thing: chasing redfish the right way.
At Rojo Charters, we specialize in sight-fishing for redfish in the shallow backwaters of Dularge, Dulac, and Cocodrie. There’s nothing like spotting a copper back pushing across a flat, setting up the cast, and watching the eat happen in real time. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and incredibly rewarding — whether you’re brand new to inshore fishing or a seasoned angler looking to sharpen your skills.
I run a custom shallow-water setup designed specifically for this style of fishing. From the elevated casting platform for better visibility to dual Power-Poles and precision electronics for total boat control, everything is built to give us a tactical advantage in skinny water. We fish with premium rods, reels, and tackle capable of handling Louisiana’s heavy cover and powerful fish.
Every trip is personalized. Some anglers want numbers. Some want trophies. Some just want to learn and experience the marsh the right way. I take the time to understand what you want from your day on the water and tailor the trip accordingly.
Conservation is also a big part of what we do. Through our TAG & RELEASE trips, we participate in data collection efforts that help support the long-term health of Louisiana’s redfish population. These marshes raised me — protecting them matters.
