Operating across California's La Panza, Gabilan, Central Coast, Fort Hunter Liggett, and San Luis Reservoir elk units, Lost Valley Outfitters offers guided bull and cow elk hunts on private and public hunting grounds, depending on your tag and selected package.

Our hunts take place across some of California's most scenic elk country, from rolling oak-covered hills and pine-studded slopes to agricultural valleys and rugged juniper terrain. Hunters can expect early mornings, extensive glassing from proven vantage points, and strategic spot-and-stalk opportunities tailored to elk movement, terrain, and seasonal conditions.

For hunters pursuing a mature trophy bull, our team focuses on locating quality animals and positioning you for the best possible opportunity. Cow elk hunts provide an equally rewarding experience for hunters looking to fill the freezer with some of California's finest wild game.

• Draw Bull Tag – Private Land: 5 Days | $11,500 per hunter
• Draw Bull Tag – Public Access: 5 Days | $3,500 per hunter
• Draw Cow Tag – Private Land: 5 Days | $5,000 per hunter
• Draw Cow Tag – Public Access: $3,500 per hunter
• PLM Trophy Bull: 5 Days | $40,000 per hunter
• PLM Cow Elk: 3 Days | $10,000 per hunter

Licensing & Tag Requirements:

Hunters must possess a valid California hunting license and the appropriate Tule elk tag before participating. Draw-tag hunts require a successful California elk tag draw, while PLM hunts are conducted under the applicable Private Land Management tag program.

A wounded animal is considered the hunter's harvest. Deposits are refundable only for cancellations made more than 60 days before the scheduled hunt.
