• First Firearm Deer Season: November 21, 22 & 23, 2025
• Second Firearm Deer Season: December 4, 5, 6 & 7, 2025
• Muzzleloader-Only Deer Season: December 12, 13 & 14, 2025 - Hunters may also use a muzzleloader permit with a muzzleloading rifle during Second Firearm Season December 4 - 7, 2025
• Archery Season Dates: Counties with a firearm season and west of State Route 47 in Kane County: 

October 1 - November 20, 2025

November 24 - December 3, 2025

December 8 - January 18, 2026  

Cook, DuPage, Lake and Kane County (east of State Route 47):

All hunting reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. To confirm and secure your preferred hunting date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit ensures that your chosen date is reserved exclusively for you.

Our antler restriction policy requires that harvested deer meet a minimum of 130 inches in antler score or be at least 4.5 years old. The staff will assess the deer to determine if it meets these standards. If a deer does not meet either the age or antler score requirements, a $1,000 fine will be imposed for harvesting the animal.
