Come experience some of not only the finest wing shooting that south Texas has to offer but also enjoy a world renowned trout fishery!
Port Mansfield is a special place offering fantastic fishing and world class wind shooting.
We hunt commercial sunflower fields just a short drive from the lodge that produce a very high volume of birds with quick limits. These make for great action packed shoots with clients or getting young hunters introduced to dove hunting.
Our fishing captains fish here year around and stay on the trout and redfish. Each of our boats fish 4-5 people comfortably. The Laguna Madre is known for not only its large trophy trout but the numbers of trout that call it home. Limits come fast most days and the weather is nice in the late summer and early fall making for a great morning with friends or clients.
We have 4 houses in Port Mansfield for lodging, each sleeping 4-8 people comfortably.
Day 1:
Group will arrive at noon to get unpacked and settle in.
Leave for an afternoon dove hunt at 2:30 pm.
Returning from the field, guides will clean and package birds while the group heads in for appetizers and Steak dinner.
Day 2:
Lodges are on the water where the boat captain will pick you and your group up off the back porch to start your morning of fishing at 6:30 am. Light breakfast and coffee prior to departing for fishing.
Returning from fishing, formal sit down breakfast is served while the mornings catch is cleaned and packaged.
Lunch is served at 12-2 pm.
Depart for the afternoon dove hunt at 2:30 pm.
Return from the field for dinner.
Day 3:
Breakfast and departure by 10 am.
If the fishing is not avaliable due to weather or fishery conditions, we will supplement the morning fishing trip with an upland quail shoot.

We strive to create a quality experience with each hunt. In the end, we are hunting and
bonding with each person that accompanies us on the hunt with hopes of creating life
long friendships along the way.
We have access to a little over 100,000 acres currently in Texas. While we continue to build relationships with landowners and acquire more land to chase critters on, we only sign with land owners that have the same moral practices as we do. Just as we want great long-term relationships with the people we
hunt with, we want the same relationship with landowners.
We harvest the top tier of an age class in animals which means that some years we
might not have as many animals to hunt on our ranches due to predators, drought, lack
of feed, and overall mother nature. We are not trying to kill hundreds of animals a year.
We want to keep the hunting pressure low and manage each herd to maximize herd
health and health of the landscape they live on.
Our hunts can range from 5-star lodging to canvas wall tent, we will fill the needs and
wants of each group. Our goal is to check off each and every one of your needs and
wants, we can’t always accomplish that but we will try and also communicate with you
and your group if it is possible or not for us to do. Communication is key when we book
a hunt.
All of our hunts are generally 1x1 or 2x1 with the exception of turkey being DIY
or 1x1.
