There is nothing in the world of Waterfowl Hunting that compares to the hunting of Sandhill Cranes. These birds are magnificent to watch as they glide into the decoys from what seems like a mile above the Texas Prairie. We know these prized birds are on bucket list hunt for most waterfowl hunters. We have worked hard to establish long-term relationships with local landowners so we can ensure we are hitting the right fields, on the right days where large flocks of Sandhill Cranes are feeding. Not only is this an exciting hunt, but a tasty one. They don’t call Sandhill Cranes the Ribeye of the sky for nothing! Hunting clothes to bring
DRESS WARM! The Texas weather changes by the minute. Most mornings it can be anywhere from 20 degrees to 50 degrees, we recommend layers, insulated boots, bibs, wool socks, gloves and camo.
What to bring
Gun, Ammo, calls if you have them and are confident in your ability, water, and snacks. We ask that you limit what you bring into the blind for space and to keep everything covered. A blind bag and your gun is what you will need while we are in the field.
Lodging
We do not currently offer lodging, however we have negotiated a local hotel for $80/Night for 2 beds and $70/Night for 1 bed. Hotel name: My Place 806-803-9501

Rules
Client dogs?
Yes. However, dogs must be steady enough to shoot. If dog breaks we will ask you to tether your dog and release them after the shot.

Payment and cancelation policy
To secure your hunting experience with Prairie Bomb Outfitters, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon booking hunt dates. The second payment, covering the remaining hunt cost, is due 2 days before the scheduled hunt. We understand that plans may change, and if you need to cancel, please do so at least 30 days before the scheduled start date to avoid the second payment. Cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled hunt will incur the responsibility for the second payment to account for the full cost of the hunt. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to providing you with an unforgettable hunting adventure.
Required licenses
To hunt with us you will need to purchase a Texas hunting license as well as a federal duck stamp, a Sandhill crane stamp and a migratory bird stamp.

Prairie Bomb Outfitters is based in the Amarillo Texas area and has worked with local landowners to secure exclusive access to over 100,000 acres of premium hunting locations. After 15 years of hunting in these areas, our primary goal is to create an amazing, safe, and successful hunting experience for our guests.
With no other hunters able to access our locations we are able to ensure the land is never over hunted or burned out. Prior to your hunt, our team scouts or land tracks to ensure we are on the birds and getting bombed in an environmentally conscious process.
