Hunt Units Overview – 51 & 52

Units 51 and 52 are known for producing 250–300+ class bulls and mature, high-quality mule deer bucks. With a mix of timbered ridges, meadows, drainages, and mountainous terrain, these areas offer both challenging and accessible terrain for hunters of all ability levels. Elk herds are healthy, and mule deer populations are well-managed with balanced age structures. Both units are hunted via public draw or landowner tags, and we can assist you with every step of the licensing and application process.

These hunts are ideal for hunters who want to maximize their time afield by pursuing two iconic Western species in the same trip. However, to harvest both elk and mule deer, you must draw tags for both species in the same unit. If only one tag is drawn, you may add a turkey or black bear hunt to create a two- or three-species package.

All combo hunts include professional 1x1 guiding, field transportation, game retrieval, and assistance with tag application and hunt planning. Lodging, meals, and licensing fees are not included but can be arranged upon request.
