Each day is spent glassing productive clear cuts, avalanche chutes, south-facing slopes, meadows, and timber edges before making exciting spot-and-stalk approaches on mature bears. Thanks to the area's exceptional bear density, hunters frequently observe multiple bears throughout the course of their hunt.

The Cabinet Mountains are famous for their remarkable diversity of color-phase black bears. Hunters may encounter traditional black bears alongside stunning cinnamon, chocolate, blond, brown, and even red-colored bears, making every hunt a unique opportunity for a truly exceptional trophy.
