The Dream StreamThis Gold Medal section of the South Platte River meanders between Spinney and Eleven Mile reservoirs in Central Colorado. Tailwaters from Spinney keep the water at a nearly constant temperature which produces large and vibrant Rainbows, Browns, and even Kokanee in the fall. This is an adventure not to be missed!

UpRiver Fly Fishing is family owned and operated by myself, Kayla and my husband Andrew. Collectively we have over 30 years of experience among the rapids and eddies of the Arkansas River and Brown's Canyon National Monument. We have a deep sense of gratitude for Colorado's wild places and we want to share that with our clients. We strive for a fishing experience that cannot be replicated by other outfitters.

World class float trips are offered on the Gold Medal headwaters of the Arkansas River including Brown's Canyon National Monument. Our wade trips take place on the Dream Stream. We also offer 4x4 adventures to several spectacular high mountain lakes in the Sawatch Mountain Range. If you'd like a stillwater fishing experience, we do that too! Transportation can be provided to and from your lodging in Chaffee County.

Our Gold Medal Trout Fishery
In 2014, 102 miles of the Arkansas River were added to the list of Gold Medal trout fisheries, the longest stretch of
trophy fly fishing water in the state of Colorado.
The Arkansas is a freestone river which boasts thriving populations of Brown Trout and stocked populations of healthy Rainbow Trout. Post run-off the Arkansas becomes one of the best hopper-dropper fisheries in the country.
UpRiver Fly Fishing is bonded, licensed and insured and is a registered outfitter with the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA)
