If you’re interested in slipping on a pair of waders and exploring the San Juan by foot, our guides can provide their expertise and knowledge of the river. While both methods have their merit, wade fishing offers a different experience than floating the river. There is a lifetime of fishing opportunities in the 4 mile stretch of the quality waters.
Our guides have decades of experience wading the San Juan; they can teach you the upper stretch of the San Juan that is not accessible by boat. While wading, each guide can accommodate one to three clients.

We offer a wide range of lodging options to meet every preference, from remote spike camps and wall tents to campers, hotels, and our private lodge known as The Cockhouse. Our lodge provides a comfortable and welcoming base with eight rooms, RV hookups, and the capacity to accommodate up to 22 guests, making it ideal for individuals, groups, and families.
