Want to experience world-class Lake Erie Walleye fishing without chartering a full private boat? Our walk-on fishing trips allow individual anglers or small groups to reserve a seat and join an existing charter.

This is a great option for solo anglers, couples, or small groups looking to enjoy a professionally guided fishing trip while sharing the experience with fellow anglers.

You’ll fish aboard our 34’ Mirage Center Console powered by twin Honda outboards, designed to comfortably handle Lake Erie conditions and quickly reach productive fishing grounds.

Captain Steven Demboske and his experienced crew will work hard to ensure every guest has a fun, safe, and productive day targeting Lake Erie’s famous walleye fishery.

Depending on the time of year, anglers may also encounter Yellow Perch and Smallmouth Bass while fishing Lake Erie’s reefs, structures, and open water.

Walk-On Trip Options

Half Day Walk-On Trip

4 Hours — $100 per person

• Afternoon trips (morning may be available if scheduled ahead)
• Join a shared group of anglers

Full Day Walk-On Trip

7 Hours — $145 per person

• Full day experience targeting Lake Erie Walleye
• Meet at dock around 5:30–5:45 AM
• Typical departure around 6:00 AM

Pricing

• $270 per boat (up to 6 anglers)

This package can be added during booking or arranged with the captain prior to your trip.

What to Expect

• Lake Erie fishing conditions change throughout the season, and Captain Steven constantly adjusts locations to stay on active fish.
• Depending on where the fish are located, we may run anywhere from 2 miles to 30 miles offshore to find the best bite.
• Our crew is experienced in working with anglers of all skill levels and will gladly assist with techniques, gear setup, and fish handling.

Fuel Surcharge Policy

Fuel is included in the standard trip pricing; however, in rare situations where fuel prices increase significantly or trips require extended travel distances to reach fish, a fuel surcharge may apply.

If a surcharge is necessary, it will always be discussed and agreed upon with guests in advance of the trip. Captain Steven is committed to being transparent about any additional costs and will communicate ahead of time if conditions require longer runs or higher fuel usage.

Fishing License Information

Before purchasing a fishing license, check with your captain first.

Depending on the season and fishing location, trips may enter Canadian waters as early as mid-June, which requires a different fishing license and documentation.

Trip Policies

To ensure safety and comfort for all passengers:

• No hard liquor allowed onboard
• No glass bottles
• No spray sunscreen permitted

Please bring lotion-based sunscreen instead.
