Saskatchewan Waterfowl Hunt

At Fox Valley we are proud to offer world class waterfowl hunts, our number one goal is to leave you with lasting memories as well as keep you comfortable while in the great outdoors. Most of our hunting is done out of tangle free layout blinds or our custom built A-frames while hunting over spreads of SX full body decoys.

Arrival Day & Dinner:

We prefer first time guests to arrive before 6pm the first night to get settled in at Fox Valley Lodge and to see the grounds in preparation for the next morning hunt.

Day 1 Morning Hunt:

We depart for our hunting location around 8am. Brunch served mid morning. We will usually hunt until noon, of course that is dependent on reaching bag limits.

Day 1 - Afternoon Hunt: Hunting usually resumes around 1:30pm and we will continue to hunt until limits are reached, hunters are ready to "call it a day" or legal shooting time expires.

Day 1 - Dinner & Festivities:

Dinner is prepared and served to all guests. If time allows and parties desire we will gather around the fire pit or football game to celebrate and tell stories of the day.

Day 2 - Morning Hunt: Head out for our hunting location around 8am. Brunch served mid morning. We will usually hunt until noon, of course that is dependent on reaching bag limits.

Day 2 - Afternoon Hunt:

Hunting usually resumes around 1:30pm and we will continue to hunt until limits are reached, hunters are ready to "call it a day" or legal shooting time expires.

Day 3 - Departure: Guest will depart shortly after the morning hunt and brunch. We donate all waterfowl to First Nations Community for food and to use the feathers in their ceremonies.

How to get to Fox Valley?

What kind of blinds will we hunt out of?

We offer both A-frame blinds and tangle free layout blinds. Your guide will prepare blinds based on best cover for the days hunt.

How many areas do y'all hunt per trip?

We hunt fresh grounds every day – there’s never a repeat of the same field. So, you can experience something new each and every time!

What are the bag limits?

You can hunt up to 8 ducks of any species and 20 snow geese, with a limit of 8 dark geese. Come join us to experience the thrill of the hunt!

Do y'all use e-callers?

Our snow goose hunts feature all e-callers (electric callers) for an enjoyable and effective hunting experience. Hunt with us to increase your success rate and make the most of your time in the field!

Do y'all provide bird cleaning and preparing?

No, at Fox Valley Waterfowl Outfitters, we don’t provide packaging of birds but expect some of your harvest to be cooked. We are proud to donate all of our birds to a local Indian community for food and their use in ceremonies.
