From forest and field to the flats: a three-day conservation cast and blast experience on Moloka‘i’s quiet east end, with Pu‘u O Hōkū lodge as home base. Guests hunt axis deer across private ranch ridges, gulches, and pasture with guides who tailor each stalk to their skill level, then sight-fish for ‘ō‘io on the reef flats with a fly rod. The hunt supports conservation by easing pressure on native forest and watershed, and every bonefish is catch-and-release.
