SUNDAY – THURSDAY
Sunday – arrival into Brownsville, TX before 4:00pm pickup where a member from La Finca Lodge will be on hand to greet you. After clearing customs in Matamoros, Mexico, the group will then be transferred about 2 hours south to La Finca Lodge in San Fernando, Mexico. No hunting this afternoon as you will unpack and enjoy dinner and drinks this evening.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – These are three full days hunting for doves with overnights at La Finca Lodge.
Thursday – No hunting this morning as you will be transferred back to Brownsville and check in for your flight home departing after 11:00am.
THURSDAY – SUNDAY
Thursday – arrival into Brownsville, TX before 11:00am pickup where a member from La Finca Lodge will be on hand to greet you. After clearing customs in Matamoros, Mexico, the group will then be transferred about 2 hours south to La Finca Lodge in San Fernando, Mexico. You will go out for an afternoon dove hunt today.
Friday & Saturday – These are two full days hunting for doves with overnights at La Finca Lodge.
Sunday – You have one last morning hunt and then the group will be back to Brownsville and check in for your flight home departing after 4:00pm.

What do I need to bring?

How far is the hunting area from the lodge?
- Dove hunts - Drives range anywhere between 15 minutes to 45 minutes to the fields.
- Quail - Drives range from 30 min to 1 hour.
- Duck hunts - Drives range anywhere from 45 min to an hour to the duck blind whether it be to one of our exiting fresh water ponds or the famous Laguna Madre.
How do I get to La Finca Lodge?
The suggested route is to arrive in to the Brownsville Tx airport where a lodge representative will be there to transfer you just two hours south of the border to the lodge. The Lodge rep will assist in all border crossing procedures. Be sure to bring your passport.
What is included in my trip?
Included in your trip fee are your hunting, rental guns, lodging at La Finca Lodge with meals and open bar, hunting license and transportation to/from Brownsville.
When is the best time to come for dove or duck hunting?
All dates are fantastic!
The White Wing Dove season runs from August to October.
The Duck and Quail Season runs from November to February.
How many hunters does your lodge hold?
The lodge has 14 spacious rooms.
During White wing season the lodge holds up to 24 shooters.
During Duck and Quail Season the lodge holds up to 20 shooters.
